Washing up dinner plates often leaves soggy puddles across your worktop.

Worktop space vanishes fast when bulky dish racks take over beside the sink. This silicone dish drying mat combines a flat draining surface with built-in arched dividers that hold crockery upright securely. Ribbed channels steer water away from resting mugs, bowls, and cutlery, whilst an extended side spout pours runoff straight into the sink rather than across your counter. Thanks to its flexible build, the mat folds down neatly to slip into a drawer between uses.

Why is this draining mat so popular?

Built-in plate arches: Curved upright ribs hold plates and bowls firmly in position so they air-dry without clattering against each other.
Direct sink drainage: An integrated spout on the outer lip channels water over the sink rim to stop puddles forming on your worktop.
Space-saving foldable design: A flexible central seam lets you fold the mat in half, sliding easily into slim drawers and cupboards.

Ideal for:

Flats and compact kitchens with limited worktop space, daily hand-washing of plates and bowls and smaller households looking for foldable kitchenware.

How does water drain off the mat?
Raised interior ridges guide excess water towards an extended lip overhanging the sink, letting runoff empty directly down the drain.

Can the mat be stored away when not in use?
Yes, its pliable design folds neatly in half, making it easy to store flat in a cupboard or tuck into a shallow drawer.

How do you clean it?
Simply rinse it under the tap using a soft sponge and mild washing-up liquid, or place it flat on the top rack of your dishwasher.

What kind of crockery fits in the arched rack?
The dual-height arches easily hold standard dinner plates, side plates, and shallow pasta bowls upright for steady drying.
